INFORMATION FOR PRESENTERS

ORAL PRESENTATIONS
All speakers are asked to note their presentation time on the programme and adapt their presentation so that it fits into this time slot. Please allow time for any questions and answers that you deem necessary. We would also ask speakers to use PowerPoint Slideshows for their presentations where possible and to bring their presentation to the meeting either on a usb stick or on their own laptop. Upon registration, it is recommended that you go directly to the Speaker’s Preview Room, located on the floor above the registration area, in order to discuss your presentation with the Audio Visual Technician and be sure that it is uploaded correctly onto the system. If you have any queries, please contact bgcs@conferenceorganisers.ie and we will be delighted to help you in any way possible.
POSTER PRESENTATIONS
Posters will be displayed throughout the conference on the ground floor, outside the Conference Hall. In order to allow maximum exposure to the posters, please note that they should be put up on Wed,25th Nov, between 14.00 and 18.00 and in any circumstances before 09.00 on Thurs, 26th. Posters should be taken down before 17.00 on Fri, 27th. The poster boards are 1m wide by 1.5m high so please size your posters accordingly.
There will be Velcro tabs available on the boards to aid you in mounting your poster. The boards will be numbered and the numbers will correspond to your presentation number as listed in the programme. We cannot allocate poster numbers to you until you are registered so please do so at your earliest convenience to ensure that your presentation is listed.
